Opportunity and Challenge: a speech by Fred Morini for iEMBA participants
22 April 2020On Friday 24th for the participants of the International EMBA, there will be the speech “Opportunity and Challenge: Managing Uncertainty and Reacting to Unforeseen Events”, held by Fred Morini, former professional cyclist, Physical Activity Manager and founder of Physio Sport Clinic, a center specialized in manual therapy.
The sportsman of Umbrian origin was forced to interrupt his promising career as a cyclist following two serious accidents that led to a paraparesis in the lower limbs.
Since 2001 Fred Morini has decided to reinvent himself, to start a new life alongside Davide Rebellin, champion, organizer of sporting events and consultant in the International Cycling Organization, which includes, among others, the Giro d’Italia, the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España.
Among the numerous projects that saw him as a protagonist, Ride Across Europe for Children, an adventure on two wheels undertaken in 2015 after the serious accident, which saw him riding for 10 days from Milan to Stockholm.
An appointment for the participants of the iEMBA of the I and II edition, called to reflect on the management of unexpected factors according to those who made the most difficult challenges an opportunity to start again.
