What is the future of business education?
BBS is publishing one video per week in order to share the opinions and thoughts of the fifteen counselors who are supporting the global growth of Bologna Business School. This week is the moment of José de la Torre, Dean Emeritus, Florida International University.

 

Dr. de la Torre served as Dean of the Alvah H. Chapman, Jr., Graduate School of Business from July 2002 until December 2007.  He currently holds the position of Professor and J.K. Batten Eminent Scholar Chair in Strategy, Emeritus, and serves as Executive Director of the EMBA Consortium for Global Innovation.
A distinguished expert in the field of international business, de la Torre was previously professor at UCLA’s Anderson School, where he served as chair of the Strategy and Organization area and founding director of UCLA’s Center for International Business Education and Research.
He is the author of several books including Nine Investments Abroad and Their Impact at Home, Exports  of Manufactured Goods from Developing Countries: Marketing Factors and the Role of Foreign Enterprise, The Activities of IT Multinationals in the European Community, Managing the Global Corporation and others.

Next Wednesday we are going to listen to Eugenio Sidoli, CEO, Philip Morris Italia.
