Selection notice for the position of Professional Network and Community Manager with “cadre” [middle management] status and open-ended contract at Fondazione Bologna Business School – Notice no. 2017D-02 of February 25, 2017

1) Professional profile
We are looking for the Professional Network and Community Manager whose role shall be to develop the School Community, also in view of supporting the career development of participants and Alumni. Bologna Business School, the reference organization of the University of Bologna in the field of postgraduate and post-experience managerial training, is engaged in the implementation of an ambitious business plan aiming at a remarkable growth at domestic and international levels, paying particular attention to executive education activities. This growth requires the consolidation and development of the Community, which is the main relational heritage of the School, also in the perspective of a greater use of new technologies.

The selected person shall perform the role of Professional Network and Community Manager of BBS, shall report to the Managing Director and coordinate a dedicated team.
In particular the candidate shall:
• cooperate with the Dean, the Associate Deans and the management of the School in the development of the School Community, including Alumni, Participants, Companies and any other stakeholder participating in the activities of BBS;
• develop and implement strategies to enhance the Community through offline (e.g. dedicated events) and online activities (e.g. social media, LinkedIn alumni tool, dedicated pages) by ensuring the integration of data concerning these initiatives with the School CRM;
• develop and manage the relationship with Alumni and other members of the Community (direct contact, analysis of the needs through tools such as mailing, letters, phone calls, SMS, surveys, etc.) and collect information in a structured database integrated with the CRM;
• ensure the inclusion in the CRM and subsequent continuous updating of the information concerning Alumni (collection of information through surveys, integration of LinkedIn, BBS faculty and staff profiles, etc.);
• facilitate Community activities, in cooperation with other BBS areas;
• foster and support the continuous professional development of students and Alumni through counseling, mentorship, networking and other activities;
• in cooperation with the program managers, manage internship and placement activities, in compliance with the objectives set out in the Masters’ and participants’ profiles;
• ensure the maintenance and the development of a database integrated with the CRM in order to support the internship, placement and career development activities;
• develop steady relationships with companies aimed at carrying out the above-mentioned activities.

2) Position
The selected candidate shall be hired with an open-ended contract and classified as “Cadre”, pursuant to the Italian Commerce National Collective Employment Agreement for the service sector. The probationary period shall last 6 months.

3) Job requirements
In order to be admitted to the selection process, at the time of the publication of this notice, the candidate shall meet the following requirements:
• university degree qualification (old or new regulations) of “Laurea triennale” (bachelor’s degree), “Laurea specialistica” (second-level degree) and “Laurea magistrale” (master’s degree), or equivalent international qualification;
• work experience of at least 4 years with commercial responsibilities in the field of consultancy and personnel recruitment;
• possession of civil and political rights.

4) Selection procedures
The Fondazione shall appoint the head of the selection process and an assessment team to analyze and evaluate the submitted applications. The selection shall be carried out by assessing the candidates’ professional experiences based on the submitted curriculum vitae and by way of one or more interviews and any other test deemed helpful to assess the technical skills and aptitude or motivational aspects consistent with the required profile.
The candidates shall be notified of any other selection procedure identified by the assessment team.
At the end of the selection process, the selection team shall put forward (at its sole discretion) to the Fondazione the most suitable candidate for the required profile, or a short-list based on which, at its sole discretion, the Fondazione shall select the suitable person for the position.
Should there be no candidate who meets the requirements for the profile or no application be received, BBS shall be entitled to decide to repeat the selection procedure or start a new one for other professional profiles or to adopt different procedures of staff recruitment.

5) Application for admission
The candidacy shall be submitted by sending:
• Application form drafted according to the attached template (Application form_Attachment 1) together with a copy of a valid identity document.
• Curriculum vitae, preferably in the European format (CV Template_Attachment 2).
The application shall be sent by March 16, 2017. Nonetheless, the selection shall be valid until the identification of a suitable candidate for the professional profile required.

6) Outcome of the selection
The selected candidate shall be notified by individual and confidential communication. The other candidates shall be notified of the conclusion of the selection process by the same procedure (without specifying the name of the selected person). BBS shall be entitled to publish the name of the selected person on its website.

7) Processing of personal data
Pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, the data provided by the candidates are collected at the Fondazione for management purposes of the comparative procedure and are processed also after the possible recruitment for the purposes concerning the management of the work relationship itself.
