MANAGING ASSETS IN A STRATEGIC WAY

The Wealth Management course is addressed to professionals who intend to start their growth in the field of wealth consultancy, tailoring their training to the recent European regulatory provisions (Mifid 2).

The course provides economic skills and tools to analyze the markets, necessary to operate as financial consultants for banks and insurance companies, consulting companies, real estate brokerage agencies or to work as freelancers.

This training experience is a unique opportunity for those who wish to make their professional career reach a turning point, going in the direction that wealth management is taking: the starting point for a career based on the ability to interpret financial changes and strategically support one’s own clients’ needs.

Combining the Faculty’s academic knowledge with the presence of industry professionals, the course provides economic skills and tools to analyze the markets, necessary to operate as financial consultants for banks and insurance companies, consulting companies, real estate brokerage agencies or to work as freelancers.

" Wealth management has its roots in the high specialization of Lombard and Tuscan bankers who, starting in 13th century and until the Renaissance, built a proper financial hegemony managing the wealth of Kings, Popes and merchants all over Europe. Excellent technical skills, risk management, ars mercatoria and authoritativeness are still today, centuries later, the fundamental ingredients of the profession. Of course, new soft skills need to to be added to the toolkit in order to compete in an increasingly complex scenario. "

Structure

The course is aimed at those who want to undertake a path of growth in the field of asset consultancy, adapting training to recent European regulatory provisions (Mifid 2).

The course consists of 6 residential, 12 classroom days from 09.15 am to 5.45 pm.

  • Concetti di politica monetaria e fiscale
  • Asimmetria informativa, financial literacy e il ruolo della consulenza finanziaria.  Evoluzione del mercato del risparmio gestito in Italia e in Europa nel post Mifid2


  • Teoria di portafoglio: Capital AssetPricing Model (CAPM). Critiche, limiti ed estensioni al CAPM. I modelli bayesiani e il modello Black-Littermann.  I modelli a budget di rischio.  Modelli Smart Beta.
  • Gestione attiva e gestione passiva: ETF, Fondi. Analisi dettagliata vantaggi e svantaggi per la rete e per il risparmiatore.
  • Gestione di portafogli fixed income ed equity: tecniche di valutazione e comunicazione risultati.
  • Strumenti di analisi e valutazione del risparmio gestito.


  • Risparmio pensionistico e ciclo vitale. Classificazione dei sistemi pensionistici, metodi di finanziamento e regole di calcolo. Sostenibilità sistemi pensionistici.
  • Il rischio demografico e di longevità. Indicatori di convenienza e adeguatezza. La costruzione ottimale di un portafoglio pensionistico.
  • Il processo di riforma della previdenza pubblica e privata in Italia. La previdenza complementare. Costi amministrativi e tassazione agevolata. La gestione finanziaria della previdenza privata e complementare.
  • Il mercato delle assicurazioni: aspetti demografici e finanziari. Il caso Italia e le prospettive di sviluppo.


  • L’analisi delle aspettative  dei clienti. Aspetti percettivi e attentivi sul comportamento. Apprendimento, memoria e rappresentazione mentale. Motivazione, bisogni e coinvolgimento.  Analisi dei processi decisionali del cliente.
  • Strategie euristiche di giudizio. La curva del valore.   Dissonanza cognitiva e decisioni.  La persistenza nelle decisioni.  La valutazione dell’avversione al rischio del cliente.
  • La comunicazione e l’ascolto nella relazione azienda – consulenti. La comunicazione e l’ascolto nella relazione consulenti – clienti
  • Il processo di acquisto dei servizi. Il sistema di erogazione. La partecipazione del cliente al sistema di erogazione. Il ruolo del personale di contatto nella produzione del servizio.


  •  Il patrimonio nel ciclo di vita della famiglia. La mappatura del rischio patrimoniale, dal punto di vista giuridico.
  • Trust (varie tipologie), atti di destinazione, fondo patrimoniale. Prodotti assicurativi. Donazioni.
  • La fiscalità del patrimonio finanziario, patrimoniale, aziendale.
  • L’ottimizzazione fiscale nel passaggio generazionale del patrimonio.

Learning method

Our courses are characterized by a faculty of academics and consultants. The teaching methodology makes use of the support of an e-learning platform in which materials and exercises will be uploaded for the study and study between the two classroom sessions.

Networking

Networking takes place between students in the same class, between participants and lecturers, and with students from other courses or previous editions of the same program.

FEES

The registration fee for the program is 4,800 euros (plus VAT) to be paid by the start date of the course.

The fee includes attendance at the program, all study material available through the online platform and access to Bologna Business School services, which include: Alma personal wi-fi account, use of Computer Lab PCs, use of study areas and access to the internal gym.

A large free car park is available in the school park.

The course is reserved for a maximum of 20 participants.

FAQs

At the end of the course, a participation certificate is issued (upon reaching 80% of classroom hours).
The documents used in the classroom and any further reading or exercises will be uploaded to our platform, whose credentials will be delivered in the classroom.
Should a group of colleagues wish to participate in the program, it is possible to contact the Program Manager to evaluate an ad hoc participation price.
Our short courses do not require a specific course of study. It is important to have a few years of work experience behind you that can help you, inside the classroom, by bringing real cases dealt with and solutions adopted during your work.
