PRESENTATION

On Friday 28th and Saturday 29th June, join the two most important institutional appointments of the year for the Community of Bologna Business School: the Graduation, a solemn moment that celebrates the academic success of the School’s graduates, and the Reunion, a meeting and networking opportunity dedicated to the Alumni and the friends of the School.

Multiplying Opportunities

Knowledge generates infinite opportunities for innovation, growth and development, which in an inclusive, international and multidisciplinary community create an almost exponential multiplier effect. Multiplying Opportunities, which represents the vocation and mission of Bologna Business School and its Community, is thus the guiding theme of the Graduation 2019 & XIII Alumni Reunion.

GRADUATION 2019

On Friday, June 28, at 7.00 pm, the Sky TG24 journalist Ilaria Iacoviello will conduct the Graduation 2019 in Piazza Maggiore, where nearly 600 students who have successfully completed the University and Executive Masters at BBS will receive the diploma.

The Commencement Speech will be held by John Elkann, Chairman of Ferrari, in the presence of the Magnificent Rector of the University of Bologna, Francesco Ubertini, the Dean of Bologna Business School, Massimo Bergami and the President of the BBS Supervisory Board, Romano Prodi.

XIII ALUMNI REUNION

After the graduation ceremony, as tradition, the Reunion will start with an evening dedicated to celebrating the new masters.

At 9.00 pm, in the Gardens of Villa Guastavillani, you are kindly invited to join us for the Pizza Party, organized in collaboration with Ferrarelle and Associazione Chef to Chef, accompanied by the live performance of Roy Paci & Aretuska.

To participate to the Party in the evening there is a minimum donation of € 50 per person; the collected contributions will be donated to scholarships for the participation in BBS Masters.

On Saturday, the Reunion continues from 8.00 am in the ‘Grotto’ of Villa Guastavillani, with the managerial meditations conducted by Lorenzo Forni, General Secretary of Prometeia Associazione and Full Professor of Economic Policy at the University of Padua, accompanied by the performance of the Cantori Gregoriani di Cremona choir. Afterwards, breakfast will be served in the Secret Garden.

From 9.30 am, the participants will have the possibility to choose from five workshops dedicated to as many Stories of Multiplied Opportunities:

  • Sustainable Transitions
  • Digital Renaissance
  • (Re)invented Jobs
  • Global Trades
  • Inclusiveness Challenges

The actress and TV host Geppi Cucciari will conclude the XIII Alumni Reunion at 12.30, with a Farewell about Generative Storywriting and Storytelling.

Given the success of the past editions, BBS organizes the fourth Fun Coding Kids Bootcamp, a training experience on digital technologies, dedicated to the children of our Alumni and Faculty, aged between 7 and 11 years.

Participate in the Reunion, meet your fellow students, meet new people and consolidate our Community, full of content and opportunities.
