Dr. Martin Risak is Associate Professor at the Department of Labour Law and Law of Social Security at the University of Vienna, Austria where he teaches Austrian and European Labour Law and Law of Social Security as well as Dispute Resolution.He has been substitute Professor for Civil Law and Labour Law at the Faculty of Laws of the University of Passau, Germany, William Evans Visiting Fellow and Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Otago, New Zealand and an associate with the international law firm CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz in Vienna, Austria. Martin Risak is a member of the works council for the scientific staff of the University of Vienna, member of the editorial board of Zeitschrift für Arbeitsrecht und Sozialrecht (Austrian Journal of Labour Law and Social Law) and the Austrian national expert of the European Labour Law Network (ELLN) that assists the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the European Commission. He has published eleven books and more than hundred articles and book chapters, primarily in the fields of Austrian, European and International Labour Law and the Law of Social Security as well as in the field of Dispute Resolution.
