The Internet of Things may represents a promise and a barrier for accessibility at the same time. It could enable access to device actions by using remote interfaces that could be exploited by users with disabilities who access by means of assistive technologies. But, at the same time, it could prevent users by accessing IoT devices, or, the cloud infrastructure, if their interfaces or the interaction have not be built to be accessible. This course aims at presenting the main concepts and case studies in the field of Internet of Accessible Things, as a specific case of application of Human Computer Interaction methods and techniques.
