Alessandro Gasbarrini, vertebral surgeon – Vertebral Surgery Dept., Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli Bologna, will be the second Keynote Speaker of the Innovation Talks. Paolo Ottani, Founder & CEO, Network Computer House S.p.a will attend as discussant.
They will discuss relevant topics to the innovation management such as the use of new materials and advanced technologies in the biomedical sector and for the organizational management in terms of performance and team leading in highly dynamic contexts.

Alessandro Gasbarrini is Medical Director Vertebral Surgery Dept., Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli of Bologna. Born in Bologna in 1967, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Bologna, where he continued his education, specializing in Orthopedics and Traumatology. Gained knowledge of vertebral pathologies thanks to some training periods at prestigious facilities in Italy (IOR Bologna, CTO Florence) and abroad (CTO Strasbourg; Chu de Bordeaux; MedtronicSDMemphis-Tennessee- US and Spine Center Dartmounth – New Empshire – USA ; University Hospital 9 d’Octubre in Valencia -SP; Saint Louis Spine Center -Spine Care – USA). During these years has been able to specialize in Oncology Orthopedics with particular attention to the Spine, Spine Degenerative Pathology, Biological and Reconstruction in Minimally Invasive Spine. He has published many articles and abstracts in leading scientific journals and has been a speaker at numerous national and international conferences. Plays, finally, teaches at the School of Specialisation in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Catholic University of Rome.
