Service Design e Innovation Consultant Service Design Network Extended Faculty

Omar Vulpinari is a strategic consultant, trainer and facilitator in the areas of business innovation, service design, and brand communication with over thirty years of international experience. He is the first Service Design Master Trainer accredited in Italy by the Service Design Network, the world organization of service design. Omar Vulpinari assists companies in acquiring the methods of Design Thinking and Service Design to make structured innovation starting from the user’s needs by offering training and guidance in defining problems and co-designing solutions. Benetton, Samsung, Sky, United Nations, Teachers Without Borders, Phaidon, Piaggio, Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, Max Mara, AUSL Romagna, ART-ER, and Piano Strategico di Rimini are just some of the organizations he has worked for. He is an adjunct professor of Service Design at the University of Bologna, of Communication Design and Advertising 3.0 at the University of San Marino. He was adjunct professor of Design Thinking Methods at the University of Ferrara in the international master’s degree in Innovation Design and course leader of MDes Service Design Innovation at the University of the Arts London – London College of Communication. From 2007 to 2012 he was Vice President of ICO-D International Council of Design. In 2019 he received official recognition from the Emilia Romagna Region for his work with the students of the master’s degree in Advanced Service Design of the University of Bologna in collaboration with ART-ER.
