Giuseppe Casale graduated in Comparative Labour Law at University of Florence. In 1985 he obtained a Master in International Law and Economy at Johns Hopkins University, School of International Advanced Studies in Washington D.C. He also has a PhD, C.Phil. and M.A. in History of Law and Industrial Relations at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA).

He is Chief of the International Education Center of ILO (International Labour Organization) in Turin. He is a member of several European and international committees of scientific research and Secretary-general of the International Society for Labor and Social Security Law in Geneva. He is the author of several books and articles about comparative and international labour Law and industrial relations.
