Challenge, courage, talent. And again, instinct, growth, network. These are the most recurrent words among the protagonists of A4A – Alumni 4 Alumni, the meeting conceived by former students of the Executive MBA, now in its third edition. A moment of encounter “born from the desire to meet again – tells us Franco Valentini, EMBA 2015, among the creators of the initiative – to carry forward that sharing of ideas and projects even outside the classroom”.
During the busy schedule of appointments, we asked our Alumni what the strong points of the program are and how the EMBA has contributed to transforming the career of these professionals.
“The EMBA was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life, which I would have liked to have done even before – tells us Maurizio Pizzirani – Sales Manager at De Longhi – It allowed me to grow at a professional level and to develop a new approach to work, and it offered me a renewed mind-set”.
The EMBA has been a plus for those who wanted to access to a new job opportunities, but for those who wanted to make a career within the same company, too.
“When I joined EMBA – explains Giuseppe De Martino, Design Quality Assurance Manager at Ferretti Group – I was looking for more knowledge in specific subjects: I found that, but also a network that allowed me to continue a learning process that goes well beyond classroom lessons”.
Fulvio Mizzau, Logistics Director at La Perla, tells us how the EMBA has given him the confidence to embrace an unplanned sector change: “EMBA has been for me a unique journey that offered me the opportunity to create networking”.
Claudio Corsetti, journalist and School Administrator Corsetti srl says he started the EMBA when he needed to reset some things and deepen others. “As an aspiring engineer who took up journalism, I reached managerial levels directly on the field, without a previous specific preparation on the benches, and I needed to professionalize my skills and direct my choices in a more concrete way”.
The creator of A4A – Alumni 4 Alumni Franco Valentini, Head of Industrial Automation Division at Enertronica Group, explains how the EMBA has been an investment for him with a great return. “EMBA offered me a broader vision and allowed me to confront myself on the field with those who have different types of experiences. The Community is a network of business but above all of the people, with their skills and their points of view, able to trigger new dynamics and think about new projects”.
“I came from a scientific background, and I had a long career as a sales manager behind us – begins Lorenzo Lugli, Development Manager at Malagoli – The EMBA was a moment of discontinuity in my career, a decisive choice to get back in the game and not to live on my position”.
