The protagonist of the fifth round of the Bologna Business School Innovation Talks is Andrew Romans, CEO & General Partner of 7BC.VC, a venture capital fund focused exclusively on investing in technology startups related to Artificial Intelligence, Fintech and Blockchain.
“The global opportunities of venture capital and the best way to develop an innovation economy in Italy”, is the title of the speech. At the center of the meeting is venture capital, a form of investment in unlisted companies with high potential for development and growth in a “one-world policy” perspective
“During a flight from San Francisco to Mexico City, I looked out of the window and it was not possible for me to see the borders between countries distinctly” Romans said – They can be managed by any single nation (…) and in this collaborative perspective venture capital should be managed”.
Everything that revolves around venture capital involves not only the contribution of risk capital, but also involves a series of activities related to the realization of the business idea, with the aim of giving added value to the companies involved.
The speech by Andrew Romans will be held on December 18 at 6 pm at Bologna Business School.
The event, dedicated to BBS Community, will be held in Italian and English with simultaneous translation.
