Emanuele Bajo (PhD in Finance at Catholic University of Milan) is Professor of Finance at the University of Bologna and Associate Dean for International Development at the University of Bologna Business School. He is also Director of the Master in Finance and Fintech and Honorary Professor at the University of Queensland (Australia). In the past he has been Adjunct Professor at the Johns Hopkins University, San Diego State University and Visiting Researcher at Boston College. He is also member of the Consultative Working Group of Risk Standing Committee of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). His research interests and major publications are mainly related to IPO, Household Finance and Corporate Risk Management. He has published numerous articles in prestigious finance journals (among others, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Corporate Finance and Journal of Banking and Finance) and two books (Convertible bonds and Corporate risk management). He is the Executive Editor of the Journal of Economics and Business. In the past he also worked in business consulting and he is the founder of the web site Borse.it, one of the leading financial web sites in Italy.

Massimo Bergami is Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Dean of Bologna Business School where he is also the Programme Director of the Ferrari Corporate EMBA. His research interests focus on social identity in organisation and organisational participation.

He is a member of the Board of Director at EFMD and the Founding Chair of the EMBA Consortium for Global Business Innovation. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Ferrarelle SpA, Mast Foundation, Snam and United Ventures.

He had significant international experiences at the University of Michigan, University of Florida, New York University and Bocconi University. He also is a Guest Professor at Nankai University (Tianjin, China) and at Mirbis (Moscow, Russia). He has been awarded the title of Knight Commander of the Italian Republic.

Massimo served as non-executive Director in public companies and as Senior Advisor to companies and to the Italian Government between 1996 and 2014.

He holds a PhD in Management from the University of Bologna.

Massimo is married to Ludovica, a creative researcher from Naples; they are the lucky parents of Giovanni Romano, a sparking and lovely 9 years old child. Friends, jazz, food, wine, motor and travels color his life.

Laurent Choain is graduated in Science and HR Management from the Reims Management School and Paris I Sorbonne University, Laurent has led a 4-track career as Senior Executive in several large companies, lecturer in management, a consultant and an entrepreneur. As Senior Executive, Laurent successively served at Kempinski Hotels & Resorts as VP Education and Development and Special Advisor to the CEO, before joining the Caisse d’Epargne Group as Chief HR Officer. When the Caisse d’Epargne Group merged with the Banque Populaire Group in 2009, he was appointed Sr VP Leadership & Management of BPCE. On the Education side, from 1991 Laurent worked as a lecturer in Leadership & Organisation Design at Reims Management School, prior to leading the HR and Management Department. In 1997, he was appointed Associate Dean, in charge of the School’s Executive Education until 2005. Laurent also led a parallel career in consulting, starting in 1990 as a junior “head- hunter” with Daniel Porte Consultants (now known as Hudson), then as Managing Partner of Forward Consulting (1991 – 1997) and ultimately as Special Advisor to several Chairpersons and CEOs between 1997 and 2005. In 2002, Laurent founded along with the former Club Med CEO Serge Trigano and the former Havas CEO Pierre Dauzier “Moments of Life”, a start-up company that specialised in operating and developing corporate universities, which he co-managed until 2005. Laurent is the Chairman of the ‘Cercle de la Prospective RH’ (HR Foresight Association), as well as a founding member of the ‘Cercle du Leadership’ (Leadership Development Association) and a member of the editing committee of ‘Personnel’.

Claudia is Assistant Professor in Human Resource and Organisation and Co-Director of studies of the Master in Human Resource and Organisation at Bologna Business School.
She earned her Ph.D. from KTH, the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (Sweden), and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain), within a double doctoral program funded by the EU Commission. After getting her master’s degree in Management Engineering from Tor Vergata University of Rome cum laude, Claudia has lived and worked between Italy, Sweden and Spain, conducting her research on the impact of new ways of working on managerial practice and collaborative dynamics. Recently, she has also started exploring how alternative forms of collective action arise in response to crises, particularly in the healthcare sector. Besides this, Claudia teaches various courses in Organizational Behavior, Change Management and Cross-Cultural Management at University of Bologna and Bologna Business School.

Paola Giuri is Professor of Management at Bologna University. At Bologna Business School she serves as Associate Dean for Professional Masters. Her research focuses on the Economics and Management of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, University-Industry Technology Transfer, Economic and Strategic Uses of Patents, Social Innovation and Organisational Change. She coordinated and had responsibilities for several international research projects funded by the European Commission and the European Investment Bank.
She has published articles in several journals, including Research Policy, Review of Economics and Statistics, R&D Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, International Journal of Industrial Organisation, Industrial and Corporate Change, Journal of Technology Transfer, Industry and Innovation. She collaborates with several companies and institutions. Among these, she is a member of the Board of Regents of the Bank of Italy in Emilia Romagna.
She is also part of territorial committees selecting entrepreneurial ideas. She was a recipient of the 2010 Richard R. Nelson Prize Award and the Best Paper Award at, Druid Summer Conference 2007. Paola Giuri got her PhD in Economics and Management of Innovation at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa. In her career, she was a visiting Study Fellow for two years at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU), University of Sussex.

Gabriele Morandin is Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Associate Dean for Faculty & Research at Bologna Business School.
He is also the Delegate for Teaching and member of the Faculty Board of the PhD in Management at the Department of Management and member of the Expert Panel for University Research Evaluation at the University of Bologna.
Yet, he is a member of the International Network on Technology, Work, and Family (INTWAF) at the Université du Québec à Montréal (Canada).
Gabriele Morandin has been President of the School of Economics and Management of the University of Bologna (2023-2024), Visiting Professor at Kedge Business School (France, 2022) and at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business of the American University of Beirut (Lebanon, 2024).
He received the PhD in Management in 2005 at the University of Bologna and he has been Visiting Scholar and Research Assistant from 2004 to 2006 at the Ross School of Business of the University of Michigan (MI, USA). In 2015 he gained the ‘Certification for 360-degree Assessments’ from the Center for Creative Leadership (NC, USA).
He studies leadership and its interconnections with work and non-work domains, as well as with information and communication technologies. His publications appeared among others on the Academy of Management Annals, Computers in Human Behaviour, Employee Relations, European Journal of Marketing, European Management Review, Financial Accountability & Management, Harvard Business Review, Human Resource Management Journal, Human Resource Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behaviour, Journal of Management Inquiry, MIT Sloan Management Review, Scandinavian Journal of Management, and Stanford Social Innovation Review. He sits on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Vocational Behaviour. He gained national and international awards for research and teaching.
He collaborates with companies and other institutions on innovation and people management – e.g., Angelini, Carraro Group, Coesia, Ducati, Enel, Faac Technologies, Ferrarelle, Ferrari, Ferretti Group, Lamborghini, Maserati, Stellantis (Fiat), and UniCredit.

Ludovico Bullini Orlandi is Assistant Professor in Business Organisation at the Department of Management (DiSA) and Scientific Co-Director of the Master in HR & Organisation at the Bologna Business School.
He carries out research in the fields of organisation theory, human resources management and organizational behaviour.
Currently, research interests are focused in particular on digital transformation and the consequences at an organizational and work organization level. Previously he was interested in the study of digital analytics processes within organisations and the role of social media in identifying technological changes and organising online communities. As a researcher he has carried out consultancy in companies and start-ups relating to the use of analytics in the HR and organisational behavior fields. He graduated in Business Management from the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna in 2010. After a period of work in various companies, he obtained a PhD in Economics and Management from the University of Verona in 2017. He was a Visiting Scholar at the School of Economics and Management of Lund University and at the IISM of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

Michele Coco is Head of Professional Masters, coordinating the activities related to Italian and international language programmes. His experience in Bologna Business School started in 2015, when he was in charge of Graduate Programmes, covering the roles of Programme Manager and then Head of Professional Masters.
Graduated in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Bologna, he has been involved in education since his university years, with some collaborations as tutor for Master’s Degree courses and international exchange projects.

Alessandra de Nichilo has a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics at Ca Foscari University of Venice. During her academic career, she had experience in schools, as a language facilitator in contexts of atypical language acquisition (learning disabilities, Italian L2). Then she earned a Post Graduate Master in Management, Development and Training of Human Resources, starting her career path in HR.

Alessandra, after an experience of about four years in a multinational retail company as HR Business Partner, since November 2021 she works in Bologna Business School as Program Manager of the Professional Masters Area. She manages the training initiatives working in synergy with the Head Of and the School Management, coordinating relationships with faculty and participants, with the aim of achieving the objectives of quality, participant satisfaction and economic sustainability of the assigned programs.

Cristian holds a Master’s degree in Management Engineering from the University of Bologna. Throughout his academic and professional journey, he has developed a strong interest in data analysis and process optimization, further enhancing his expertise through specialized training in Project Management, People Analytics, and SDG Action Management. He has also gained proficiency in Business Intelligence tools and HR software.

Currently, he works at Bologna G. Marconi Airport within the People Development and Organization Department, where he is responsible for People Analytics & Process Management. His key responsibilities include workforce planning, budgeting and forecasting personnel costs, digitalizing HR processes, and analyzing key HR metrics. Additionally, he is actively involved in sustainability and gender equality projects, contributing to the Sustainability Report by monitoring and reporting relevant workforce data.

He also serves as the National Young Professionals Representative for AIDP (Italian Association for People Management), where he coordinates events and initiatives for HR professionals. This role allows him to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and contribute to the development of a strong professional network in the field of Human Resources and organizational innovation.

Filippo Boccali is Adjunct Professor and Research Fellow at Department of Management at the University of Bologna, where he teaches Financial and Management Accounting. He teaches in several full time Masters or Executive programs at Bologna Business School, and he has always been active as a consultant and a researcher on the issues of structuring cost accounting systems, financial analysis and business performance analytics, i.e. the use of mathematical or statistical methods to control the performance of the company. As regards these topics, he has national and international publications, in particular in the magazine “Management Control” and in “International Journal of Production Economics” and “Technological Forecasting and Social Change”

Magalì is Assistant Professor (tenure track position) at the University of Bologna and a member of the steering committee of the Yunus Social Business Center of the University of Bologna. She graduated with honors in economics in March 2012 at the University of Trento. She obtained a Ph.D in Law and Economics in July 2016 from the University of Turin – Collegio Carlo Alberto. During the Ph.D she has been visiting scholars at the Cornell Law School – US. She has been research fellow at Politecnico of Milan (Italy) in the research group TIRESIA until September 2019. Her research and publications include both theoretical and empirical work on topics related to business ethics, corporate governance and accountability, social enterprises, universities and innovation policy. Her work has been published in leading academic journals including Research Policy, Journal of Business Ethics, Studies in Higher Education and European Management Review. She collaborated with public and private institutions such as the Province of Trento, the Emilia[1]Romagna region (ART-ER), Nomisma and the Grameen Italia Foundation. She is a member of the Scientific Committee of EconomEtica at the University of Milan Bicocca and of the B-Academics Research Committee, the global academic community of B Corps.

Giovanni Masino is full professor of Organizational Behavior and Organizational Theory at the Department of Economics and Management, University of Ferrara, Italy. He received a PhD in Organization Theory at the University of Bologna, Italy. He has been visiting research fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA), and at the Université de Toulouse Le Mirail (France) His main research interests include work organization, job crafting, leadership, people development, new technologies and organizational change, decision making, motivation, human resource management, on which he has published several books and over 70 scientific articles in international and national peer-reviewed journals

Francesco Rossi is Headhunter and Coach and currently working for Praxi SpA in Bologna. He has obtained his degree in Economics at the University of Bologna, his hometown. Over the past 20 years he dedicated his career to HR and and in the role of Head Hunter he has specialized in both and executives as well as regular employees. He is a certified Corporate Coach (PCC at International Coach Federation) and is specialized in helping both teams and individuals finding true potential. He started his collaboration with BBS for the full-time Master in HR & Organization in 2016 and delivers the course in Onboarding and Recruiting together with Marta Fratini.

Daniela Bolzani is Associate Professor in Management at the University of Bologna. Since 2024 she has been Associate Dean for Diversity & Inclusion at BBS, where she carries out teaching activities on these topics from a strategic integration perspective. He holds a PhD in Business Management dealing with issues pertaining to business internationalization and cultural diversity in high-tech startups. Her research concerns entrepreneurial decision-making and performance, with a focus on intersectional diversity aspects. She has published in international journals such as Journal of Business Venturing, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Academy of Management Journal, and is Associate Editor for the Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development. She has worked as a researcher at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. She has been a visiting scholar at Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado and HEC Paris, and a visiting professor at Junia-ISA Lille. Both as a research team member and scientific referee, she has carried out several European projects in the areas of entrepreneurship, migrant integration and soft skills. On these topics she has also been a consultant for UN-OIM and OECD. Before starting her PhD, she worked as a professional for five years in the field of financial auditing and development cooperation in Europe and Africa.

Antonio De Vito joined the University of Bologna in 2022. Before coming to Italy, he was an Assistant Professor of Accounting at IE University in Madrid. He taught several accounting and taxation courses, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels and won many teaching awards. Before becoming an Assistant Professor, he studied in Germany and received a Doctorate in Business and Economics from WHU–Otto Beisheim School of Management. His research has appeared in top academic journals, such as the Journal of Accounting and Economics and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, presented at international conferences, and featured in various news outlets. Since 2021, he has been a European Accounting Association Conference Scientific Committee member. Moreover, he has been a reviewer for leading academic journals such as the British Journal of Management, European Accounting Review, Accounting and Business Research, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, and Corporate Governance: An International Review. He is currently a member of the Editorial Boards of the Journal of International Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation, and Accounting in Europe.

Toloue Miandar is Assistant Professor at the Department of Management of University of Bologna and faculty member at BBS Center for Sustainability and Climate Change where she is teaching Sustainability-Oriented Innovation, Business Ethics and Sustainability. Prior to this position she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Economics and Management of University of Padua and at the Politecnico di Milano School of Management. She received the PhD degree of Economic Sociology and Labor Studies from University of Milan. Prior to starting her academic career, she had years of industry work experience. Her field of research is; Organizational Behavior, Corporate Social Responsibility/Corporate Sustainability, Sustainable Development and Supply Chain Sustainability. She has presented her research work in different international conferences and workshops such as AOM, EGOS and IPSERA. She has published in academic journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics.

Executive with over 30 years of experience and a successful career in ICT and HR. Graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Bologna. He has a deep knowledge of the European, US and South American IT and HR markets, having worked in several European countries (including Italy, Spain, France, Portugal and the UK) and having been responsible for managing the activities and network of distributors in North and South America. He has written numerous articles and taught as an external lecturer at the University of Bologna.

Camilla Ammirati is 22 years old and from Ferrara, Italy. She is currently a student at Bologna Business School, where she is pursuing a Master in Human Resources and Organization. Before joining Bologna Business School, she earned a degree in Economics at the University of Ferrara, which laid the foundation for her current path.

She does not have particularly significant work experience, but during her studies, she consistently sought out occasional jobs, such as working as a waitress or a hostess for events. This was driven by her desire to be independent and avoid relying too heavily on her parents.

On a personal level, she has always been passionate about physical activity. She practiced competitive artistic gymnastics for many years and now stays active through gym workouts and outdoor walks. Additionally, she has a strong interest in cinema and TV series, enjoying the opportunity to immerse herself in stories and characters.

Astrid Eng is a Master’s student in Human Resources and Organization at Bologna Business School. She previously earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources with a focus on Sociology from Lund University and spent two quarters as an exchange student at UC Santa Barbara. Throughout her academic journey, she has received several scholarships, including those from the Crafoord Foundation, the Gustaf Söderberg Foundation, and the Union Vision.

Her professional experience has primarily been in tech and startup environments, where she has embraced the challenges of fast-paced, innovative settings. While studying at Lund, she worked at Yabie AB, a FinTech company, where she contributed to developing HR policies, creating internal communication tools, and supporting the CHRO with strategic initiatives.

She has a strong interest in diversity, upskilling, and the role of HR in driving sustainable change in the workplace. Having lived in three countries and traveled to many more, she thrives in international and multicultural environments.

Outside of her studies, she enjoys knitting, practicing yoga, and exploring the culinary wonders of Bologna with friends.

Vanessa Rizo Patron Huerta is a Peruvian-Italian Learning & Development Consultant Intern at Perspective Developing People, specializing in training design, leadership development, external communication, assessment coordination, and event organization. She has experience in talent management, full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employer branding. Previously, she spent two years at Pacifico Seguros, managing recruitment for regional managers and specialist roles.

She holds a Master’s in Human Resources and Organization from Bologna Business School and a Bachelor’s in Psychology (Top 10%) from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Passionate about understanding human behavior, she integrates insights from her diploma in Cognitive Neuroscience into HR strategies to enhance motivation and performance. She has participated in international exchange programs in the U.S. and England, speaks three languages, and loves traveling to explore new cultures.

Silvia Rinotti is 25 years old and currently a student at Bologna Business School (BBS), enrolled in the Master’s program in Human Resources and Organization.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Sciences for Development and Cooperation and a Master’s degree in Security and Human Rights. Her academic background in the Humanities has provided her with enriching experiences, including attending a Summer Training School on “Unleashing the Potential of Legal Migration through a Whole-of-Society Approach.”

Additionally, she participated in and won the First Edition of the “Competition for the Award of Prizes for Short Essays on the Topic of Peace” with an essay titled, “How the European Union is Welcoming Ukrainian Refugees.”

Bringing together her passion for human rights and her interest in organizational dynamics, Silvia aspires to work in a large, dynamic environment where she can contribute her energy and expertise to promoting human rights and fostering collaboration among people.

She is an energetic, sporty, and curious individual who is always eager to learn and take on new challenges.

Glenda Zapata is a human resources professional with experience in HRM, sales, and customer service. She graduated with honors in Psychology from UNAM, refining her skills in recruitment, training, and performance management while working for companies like Reliant NRG and Teleperformance. During her Master’s in HR and Organization at BBS, she collaborated with leading companies, gaining knowledge that enabled her to join KPMG. Passionate about talent development and organizational growth, she believes in the value of networking and tackling every challenge as an opportunity.

Aula della Caccia

Giulia Bolzon is a dynamic and curious professional with a strong passion for learning and exploration. Currently serving as an HR Business Partner Intern at Comecer S.p.A. in Italy, she supports the HR Administration, Training & Development, and Talent Acquisition Specialists in both operational and strategic tasks. With a keen interest in talent management, particularly in Learning & Development, she is driven by the belief that continuous learning is essential for both individual and organizational success. Motivated to design and implement development initiatives, she aims to enhance skills, engagement, satisfaction, and performance.

Her diverse educational background reflects adaptability and enthusiasm for new perspectives and cultures. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Interlinguistic Communication Applied to the Legal Field since 2021, she graduated with honors in 2023 with a Master’s degree in Criminology and Security in the Contemporary World, in Rome. Alongside her academic achievements, she gained experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel receptionist. Active in volunteer work and community activities, she is committed to teamwork, continuous improvement, and the sustainability of both cultural and environmental heritage.

Federico Freddi, 24, is a passionate and driven individual from Bologna, where he currently lives and studies. Before joining the Master’s program in HR and Organizations at Bologna Business School (BBS), Federico always planned to pursue a career as an HR professional. His academic journey reflects his passion for humanities and his desire to engage with people. Federico graduated with honors in Philosophy from the University of Bologna (Unibo) in 2022 and completed his Master’s degree in Philosophical Science in 2024, also with honors. Additionally, he holds two IELTS certifications, achieving a C1 level in both 2019 and 2024.

Although his work experience is limited, Federico gained valuable experience working as a pool lifeguard during the summer while at university. He has enjoyed this role since 2022 and continues to do so. Outside of academics and work, Federico has a deep interest in psychology and philosophy and enjoys reading and studying these subjects. He is also a sports enthusiast, having been a swimmer since childhood and a basketball fan, with a love for all kinds of fitness activities. In his free time, Federico prioritizes spending time with his family and friends, who are the cornerstone of his ethics and personality.

Noemi Massini, 25, is a student in the Human Resources and Organization Master’s program at Bologna Business School. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Bologna. After completing her degree, Noemi took two gap years to better understand her future career path. Although she worked in entry-level hospitality positions during this time, she was introduced to Human Resource Management, which sparked her interest and led her to pursue it as a career.

Her educational background and natural disposition give Noemi a reflective and analytical approach to problem-solving. At the same time, she feels competent and accomplished when organizing, planning, and directing, which has drawn her to operational tasks and roles.

Beauty Penzo, 23, has focused on education and personal growth to equip herself with the tools needed for future professional roles. She describes herself as thoughtful, always striving to understand situations fully in order to act effectively.

Currently, Beauty works at B&B Rooms and Roses, a family-run bed and breakfast in Zola Predosa, Bologna, where she is responsible for welcoming guests, managing registrations, handling check-outs, and maintaining cleanliness. She also contributes to updating the B&B’s website and social media to keep them engaging.

Beauty is pursuing a Master’s in Human Resources and Organization at Bologna Business School, where she is learning advanced workforce management and organizational development strategies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Bologna, which has given her a broad understanding of social structures and organizational dynamics. Additionally, she earned a diploma in Advertising Graphic Design, equipping her with creative and technical skills in visual communication.

Sabrina Julia Portulese is a Chartered Professional Accountant currently serving as the Manager of Faculty Relations & Compliance in Research and Restricted Financial Management at Concordia University in Montreal. In her role, she oversees compliance for research grants, manages financial reports for high-value projects, and leads a team to support collaboration across departments and achieve strategic goals.

Sabrina successfully wrote and passed the Canadian licensing exam in 2021. Her professional experience includes roles at PwC and EY, where she worked in audit, tax advisory, and financial reporting across a variety of organizations. Additionally, she has shared her passion for education through roles as a private tutor and teacher’s assistant, mentoring students to foster success. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Degree in Chartered Professional Accountancy, graduating with distinction. Sabrina has received numerous academic scholarships and was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, an honor recognizing academic excellence at an AACSB-accredited institution. Outside of her professional work, Sabrina enjoys traveling, particularly in Italy, and experimenting with new recipes. She is passionate about creating positive, people-focused environments that drive organizational success.

Ilaria Sardelli is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in HR & Organization at Bologna Business School (BBS). She was drawn to BBS due to its diverse course offerings and the institution’s motto, “Transform your ambitions into solid projects,” which resonated with her professional goals.

Ilaria is deeply interested in the human dynamics that occur within corporate organizations, particularly how these dynamics can be managed to foster competitive, collaborative, and inclusive work environments. This passion aligns with her background in sociological studies. Ilaria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an economic focus from the University of Pisa, where she completed a thesis in Behavioral Economics. Prior to this, she graduated from Cecioni Scientific High School in Livorno. Between her undergraduate and master’s studies, Ilaria also attended a three-month course at the University of California, San Diego.

Outside of her academic pursuits, Ilaria enjoys reading, watching movies, and playing the guitar. She is also passionate about hobbies like crochet and creating accessories, which help her stay creative and balanced.

Michele Ferrari is responsible for the operational management of the school. He is in charge of managing general services, logistics, services to Faculty members, students, and employees.
Furthermore, he is in charge of the new Campus project, dealing with the assignment of the works, verifying the correct execution, ensuring the administrative process related to the tenders.
Michele has acquired solid experience in the field of personal services with a high experiential value in 20 years in the luxury hotel sector, holding senior management roles in Italy and abroad up to Managing Director of a chain of 21 hotels.
His professional areas of interest are related to the interaction between hardware and software within the Customer experience. Furthermore, he is passionate about the implications of the principles of pro-action in creating the value chain and the consequent central role of the customer in the dual producer-consumer function.
Michele graduated from the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna in Economics and obtained a specialization in Economics of Services for Tourism.
Subsequently, he obtained the Executive Master in Business Administration from the Bologna Business School.
Michele is a Travel enthusiast and cultural discoverer.

Francesco Porro has a Bachelor’s Degree in Italian Studies and Linguistic Sciences from the University of Bologna. In 2018 he obtained an MBA from Bologna Business School (part-time formula).

Francesco has been working at Bologna Business School since 2016. After two years as Program Manager of the Executive Masters area, he became Business Development Associate, then joining the staff of collaborators of the Dean Office. Recently, Francesco was appointed Head of Human Resources and Change Management, dealing with personnel selection and organizational processes. He supports all the Management of the School by dealing with agreements with partner companies and coordinating the staff for transversal initiatives.

Gabriella Di Clemente holds a Bachelor of Arts in Italian and International Relations from the University of Witwatersrand (South Africa), a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the Wits Business School (South Africa), and a Global MBA in Food and Wine from the Bologna Business School (Italy). She also holds WSET Level 2, from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust based in London.

Passionate about Project Management, she has shaped a career in the Internationalisation of Made in Italy excellence. First in the Food & Beverage Exhibition Sector, and more recently in the Education Sector as Head of Global MBA at Bologna Business School.

She currently is the Head of International Development at BBS.

Ilaria Manghi is Co-Managing Director for Resources. She is also Project Leader of the Digital Transformation of the School. She is responsible for the optimisation of business processes, as well as their formalisation also at management systems side.
She has a role of coordination and support in relations between the School, the University, institutions and stakeholders in compliance with the School’s procedures.
Since April 2018, she is a member of the Assembly of Founders and of the Supervisory Board.
Since joining Bologna Business School in 2008, she has been working as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer before eventually holding her current positions.
Ilaria has solid skills in P&L and Financial Management, Operations Project and Facility Management, and People Management.
She has strong analysis, planning and synthesis skills. Passionate for People with an innate attitude to manage innovative projects and change in cross-functional team. She has acquired experience thanks to 8 years of experience as Controller in the luxury goods industry, first in Ferrari and then in Ferretti Group (world leader luxury yacths). Ilaria graduated from the University of Bologna in Management Engineering and obtained a Corporate Executive MBA at Bologna Business School.
She is passionate about sports and travel.

Andrea Zani is the Head of Career Services at Bologna Business School. Andrea is a professional with solid experience in education management within world-class academic institutions. He previously worked at the Career Service of SDA Bocconi School of Management and at the ISPI School of ISPI – Istituto per gli Studi di Politica Internazionale in Milan, Italy. Alumnus of the School of Political Sciences at the University of Bologna, he spent one academic year at the Charles University in Prague, Czechia. In the education business, flawless operation management is key to a good customer experience: this the reason why he loves planning and executing to perfection career development activities, recruiting processes, and cultural events. Supporting students in fulfilling their career goals is a driving passion for Andrea and his close-knit team. He learned to manage relationships with students, faculty, and employers worldwide, and he can quickly adapt to different cultures and mindsets.

Ludovico Bullini Orlandi is Assistant Professor in Business Organisation at the Department of Management (DiSA) and Scientific Co-Director of the Master in HR & Organisation at the Bologna Business School.
He carries out research in the fields of organisation theory, human resources management and organizational behaviour.
Currently, research interests are focused in particular on digital transformation and the consequences at an organizational and work organization level. Previously he was interested in the study of digital analytics processes within organisations and the role of social media in identifying technological changes and organising online communities. As a researcher he has carried out consultancy in companies and start-ups relating to the use of analytics in the HR and organisational behavior fields. He graduated in Business Management from the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna in 2010. After a period of work in various companies, he obtained a PhD in Economics and Management from the University of Verona in 2017. He was a Visiting Scholar at the School of Economics and Management of Lund University and at the IISM of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

Massimo Bergami is a Professor of Organisational Behavior and Dean of Bologna Business School where he is also the Program Director of the Ferrari Corporate EMBA. His research interests focus on social identity in organisation and organisational participation.
He is a member of the Board of Director at EFMD and the Founding Chair of the EMBA Consortium for Global Business Innovation. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Ferrarelle SpA and Snam.
He had significant international experiences at the University of Michigan, University of Florida, New York University and Bocconi University. He also is a Guest Professor at Nankai University (Tianjin, China) and at Mirbis (Moscow, Russia). He has been awarded the title of Knight Commander of the Italian Republic.
Massimo has an extensive experience as non executive director in public companies and top management consultant. He served as advisor of the Italian Government between 1996 and 2014.
He holds a PhD in Management from the University of Bologna.
Massimo is married with Ludovica, a creative researcher from Naples; they are the lucky parents of Giovanni Romano, a sparking and lovely 8 years old kid. Friends, jazz, food, wine, motor and travels color his life.

Michele Coco is Head of Professional Masters, coordinating the activities related to Italian and international language programmes. His experience in Bologna Business School started in 2015, when he was in charge of Graduate Programmes, covering the roles of Programme Manager and then Head of Professional Masters.
Graduated in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Bologna, he has been involved in education since his university years, with some collaborations as tutor for Master’s Degree courses and international exchange projects.

At BBS, Francesca is in charge of Quality Services and Accreditations. She joined the Bologna Business School in 2020, and since then, her primary focus has been on quality processes and EQUIS accreditation.
Before arriving at BBS, Francesca worked for more than ten years at Politecnico di Milano School of Management. She was responsible for the School’s accreditations, faculty management, and international student office.
