BBS wins first place at the XIV edition of the “Italy MBA Football Cup”, the prestigious tournament organized by Assomaster, the MBA Alumni Association of the LUISS Business School.
The date was Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of June, at the Mariotti – Santa Sabina Municipal Stadium in Perugia, Italy. A soccer tournament between managers and entrepreneurs.
“It wasn’t an easy victory, given the great skills of the other teams, like that of CUOA (Vicenza). It was a championship of those who played for the love of sports but also, naturally, of those who want to win.” – affirms Dario Ciampoli, team leader of Finmeccanica. Trainer and motivator, as he likes to define himself.
“I believe the enthusiasm of a team that is made of a ‘skeleton’, as we like to call it, consolidated by the new members of the BBS has been rewarded.” Ciampoli also underlined how much this victory reflects the strength of the BBS Community. The sense of belonging, a natural propensity to exchange and reprocity, the capacity to work as a team, are the traits that allowed them to win over a team like IPE from Napoli, with an average age of 28, definitely lower than that of BBS.
There were 6 teams that represented the Italian Business Schools. The participating teams came from LUISS (Roma), CUOA (Vincenza), MIP Politecnico di Milano, MIB (Trieste), BBS Bologna Buisiness School, and the new entry in the tournament, IPE from Napoli.
